Baby Asher: 24 Weeks

How far along: 24 weeks
Gender: Boy, Asher James
Baby's heartbeat: 134bpm
Weight gain: 15lbs
Maternity clothes: Maternity shorts all the time and I wear both maternity and non maternity tops. Could use a few more maternity ones though
Stretch marks: No new ones
Belly button in or out: In but I think it might pop this pregnancy
Sleep: Ugh not good. Between the hip and back pain, being overly hot and having to pee every hour sleep is not happening currently
Best moment this week: Seeing my belly move, this guy is constantly kicking, punching and rolling
Miss anything: sleep and energy
Movement: Asher is constantly moving. Chase was active but no where close to this. I think I'm going to have my hands full!
Cravings: French fries
Queasy or sick: The nausea hasn't been too bad lately, though last night I randomly threw up my entire dinner :(
Looking forward to: getting Chase's baby clothes washed and ready for Asher

Fathers Day Beachside

I am so fortunate to have the world's best husband, on top of that he is the greatest father to our son. He works endless hours to make sure Chase has everything he will ever need and has every opportunity available to him. He doesn't sleep in on weekends, but instead is up when Chase and I get up so he doesn't miss a single second of his days off with his family. He even shares his food with Chase, which if you know James, enough said :)

Chase gave James two presents this year; he slept in until 8:30am ( a gift for both of us really) and he gave James a bloody nose! Yup that's our boy! (more on that later)

After feeling rested we loaded up the car with a picnic and all of our beach gear and headed to Ocean City, NJ for the day. As soon as Chase saw the ocean a huge smile appeared on his face and couldn't get down onto the sand fast enough. As soon as his feet the sand, he found his shovel and started "gigin" away. Unfortunately for us that meant sand was flung on our lunch, Chase's included but he didn't care less about the extra flavor lol. Onto James' bloody nose - James and Chase were rough housing, as father and son do and Chase decided to show James who was boss, by shoving his finger up James nose, digging his nail in and then the blood began. Of course Chase thought the blood was really cool!

We spent most of our time at the edge of the water jumping waves, building sandcastles and playing with Chase's new friend a hermit crab that he found. He really didn't want to leave his new buddy behind but I don't fancy having a crab on the loose at home.

We ended the day with dinner at Red Lobster and chocolate cake might have been eaten :)

Strawberry Picker

Our friends invited Chase and I to go strawberry picking with them and of course we said yes! It was a beautiful day and many strawberries were enjoyed by all :)

On the way to the fields...

First time picking strawberries and he did a great job...

Until he realized he could just eat them right there instead!
