Easter 2020

It was quite a different Easter this year, no Easter egg hunts with friends, no in person church service, no getting together with family, and no going out for Easter brunch, All thanks to Covid19, or the Coronavirus as it's also known.

While I missed our traditions of Easter we still had a great day at home. We had a big Easter egg hunt in our back yard, you guys found over 200 eggs in 20 minutes or less. We did water play and Daddy grilled us a yummy dinner. Though you had chicken nuggets lol. Of course, the Easter bunny paid you all a visit and left you a basket full of goodies.

Holidays are some of my favorite days!

Three Kids in a Tub

As a parent we always document the first time you did something; spoke, ate real food, crawled, waved, walked etc. We never know when it's going to be the last time you kids do something, time goes by before we realize, 'oh it's been months since that child did x, y or z.

You guys have always loved your baths, all 3 of you. I've always loved seeing all 3 of you in the bath together, it was complete and utter chaos all 3 of you in there together but I did it as you all had a blast. For over a year though you boys have stopped having baths, and take showers instead. Just another reminder as to how quickly you all are growing.

For a while Hayley had been asking that all 3 of you take a bath together, so we did it. All 3 of you in the tub. Water everywhere. Not sure you all even got properly bathed as there were limbs every which way. There was a ton of laughter, and smiles and that's what it was all about.

And that is the last time all 3 of you bathed together.

Homeschooling Beginnings

It's funny as Daddy and I have often discussed the benefits of homeschooling you, and have seriously looked into it. However we moved to an amazing school district and so we went that path. However all of that changed when the Coronavirus or Covid19 started hitting our area. On March 12th 2020, all of Montgomery County schools were closed indefinately due to the virus. And so began our homeschooling journey. The first couple of weeks was left up to our own decision as the school hadn't given any work. They had zero notice that this was going to happen.

Thankfully you have one creative, and well prepped Mummy. We did a lot of fun arts and crafts those first two weeks (before the school district assigned work). We made mosaic rainbows, did science experiments, played outside a lot, we all pitched in and cleaned up the yard, and made popcorn trees to mark the beginning of Spring. So far we are all thoroughly enjoying this extra time together!

Wiggly Tooth

Chase, the moment you have been waiting for...loosing your first tooth! You have patiently waited while lots of friends aroud you have lost first, second, third teeth. You would tell me you had a wiggly tooth, when really you didn't, hoping that if you said it it would come true.

Such a big moment! I wanted to capture you one last time with all of your baby teeth, even though one was barely hanging on.
